Les deux comp\u00e8res font bient\u00f4t la connaissance de deux r\u00e9sidentes colocataires de leur immeuble, Abby Parker et Bessie Sparrowbush. Abby s&rsquo;av\u00e8re \u00eatre aussi auteur de <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bande_dessin%C3%A9e\">BD<\/a> et, de surcro\u00eet, des pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es d&rsquo;Eug\u00e8ne, celles de \u00ab\u00a0Madame Chauve-souris\u00a0\u00bb. Abby s&rsquo;inspire de sa fofolle copine Bessie pour \u00e9crire ses histoires\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Depuis la fin des <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ann%C3%A9es_1940\">ann\u00e9es 1940<\/a>, le tandem <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dean_Martin\">Dean Martin<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jerry_Lewis\">Jerry Lewis<\/a> fonctionnait d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien dans des films humoristiques de s\u00e9rie B. Mais ici, le duo vedette est celui form\u00e9 par <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jerry_Lewis\">Lewis<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shirley_MacLaine\">MacLaine<\/a>. Les patronymes des deux foufous de l&rsquo;histoire donnent le ton\u00a0: Eug\u00e8ne Fullstack (monsieur \u00ab\u00a0pile (\u00e9lectrique) charg\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb) face \u00e0 Bessie Sparrowbush (miss \u00ab\u00a0buisson \u00e0 moineau\u00a0\u00bb). Leur gestuelle et leurs mimiques sont celles des h\u00e9ros des comics d&rsquo;autrefois\u00a0: Jerry, yeux qui louchent et l\u00e8vres \u00e9lastiques, et Shirley, paupi\u00e8res papillonnantes et jambes agit\u00e9es de <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Betty_Boop\">Betty Boop<\/a>.
