Mais comme le divorce est ill\u00e9gal en Italie, il fait tout pour que son \u00e9pouse ait une aventure avec un autre homme, pour pouvoir les surprendre ensemble, la tuer et n\u2019avoir qu\u2019une peine l\u00e9g\u00e8re pour <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Crime_d%27honneur\">crime d&rsquo;honneur<\/a>. Mais son plan ne se d\u00e9roule pas comme pr\u00e9vu. Le film qui bascule dans l&rsquo;ironie et la satire sociale est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l&rsquo;une des meilleures com\u00e9dies de m\u0153urs de l&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-guerre.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Divorce_%C3%A0_l%27italienne#cite_note-2\"><\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Certaines sc\u00e8nes d\u2019ext\u00e9rieurs sont tourn\u00e9es dans la ville sicilienne d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ispica\">Ispica<\/a> (dans le film, la ville fictive d\u2019Agramonte). Les sc\u00e8nes d\u2019int\u00e9rieurs sont tourn\u00e9es au Teatro Bellini d\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Adrano\">Adrano<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le film, F\u00e9f\u00e9 (Marcello Mastroianni) se rend au cin\u00e9ma pour voir <em><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/La_dolce_vita\">La dolce vita<\/a><\/em>, film de <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Federico_Fellini\">Federico Fellini<\/a> dans lequel Mastroianni interpr\u00e8te le r\u00f4le principal. L&rsquo;Italie d&rsquo;il y a peu longtemps, domin\u00e9e plus ou moins conjointement par l&rsquo;\u00c9glise et par la mafia, o\u00f9 le divorce se sera autoris\u00e9 qu&rsquo;en 1974, et les circonstances att\u00e9nuantes pour crimes d&rsquo;honneur abrog\u00e9es qu&rsquo;en 1981.
