Sign\u00e9e James Rado et Gerome Ragni pour les paroles, et Galt McDermot pour la musique, elle parvient id\u00e9alement \u00e0 retranscrire l&rsquo;\u00e9poque hippie. Affranchissement des contraintes sociales, libert\u00e9 sexuelle, exp\u00e9rimentations de substances psychotropes, opposition \u00e0 la guerre, les sujets trait\u00e9s dans les chansons refl\u00e8tent bien l&rsquo;utopie \u00ab flower power \u00bb, mais sait aussi en montrer les limites : bad trip, refus d&rsquo;assumer ses responsabilit\u00e9s, immaturit\u00e9\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9vocation de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque hippie \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es soixante-dix arrive avec une ind\u00e9niable nostalgie, mais une nostalgie qui n&rsquo;est jamais na\u00efve. Bien entendu, le Vietnam est l\u00e0, planant au-dessus des personnages. Bien entendu, la drogue comme moyen de fuite ne fait pas dispara\u00eetre les probl\u00e8mes de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Oui, il y a une forme d&rsquo;\u00e9go\u00efsme libertaire dans cette philosophie.
