L&rsquo;attaque d&rsquo;une diligence cristallise la haine des notables sur Vienna, emport\u00e9s par Emma, une riche propri\u00e9taire puritaine du village jalouse de l&rsquo;ind\u00e9pendance et de la r\u00e9ussite de Vienna. Elle accuse <em>Dancing Kid<\/em> d&rsquo;avoir tu\u00e9 son fr\u00e8re lors de l&rsquo;attaque et Vienna d&rsquo;en \u00eatre la complice en le prot\u00e9geant. Johnny Guitar, musicien qui vient d&rsquo;\u00eatre embauch\u00e9 par Vienna pour jouer dans son \u00e9tablissement, tente de s&rsquo;interposer&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Ce film, parfois consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un des plus beaux du cin\u00e9ma am\u00e9ricain, est entr\u00e9 en 2008 dans le <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Film_Registry\">National Film Registry<\/a> pour \u00eatre conserv\u00e9 \u00e0 la <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Biblioth%C3%A8que_du_Congr%C3%A8s\">Biblioth\u00e8que du Congr\u00e8s<\/a> aux <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%89tats-Unis\">\u00c9tats-Unis<\/a>. Comment ce d\u00e9coupage hi\u00e9rarchis\u00e9 de l&rsquo;espace est-il accentu\u00e9 par la mise en sc\u00e8ne ? Le rep\u00e9rage des angles de prises de vue adopt\u00e9s par Nicholas Ray tels que les vues en plong\u00e9e et contre-plong\u00e9e, ici abondamment utilis\u00e9es, rappelle la sensibilit\u00e9 du r\u00e9alisateur pour l&rsquo;architecture qu&rsquo;il avait \u00e9tudi\u00e9e initialement.
